Secondary Operations

After casting are poured and shook out, Imperial Casting provides all the secondary operation necessary for a finished product., including:

Heat Treating: Tempering Annealing Stress-Relieving Hardening

Deburring: When casting is first removed from mold - often larger burrs are removed manually, before going to other stations.

Grinding Station: If necessary - parts can be ground to finished dimensions.

Shot Blasting:: Casting are run through our in-house shotblast equipment, where sand and scale are removed and casting are finished.

Painting and finishing: Casting can be painted in-house to custom colors
